Welcome to Iceland!
Iceland is a European country in the North Atlantic Ocean. Iceland is quite large, but not a lot of people live here. Most of the country is called the Highlands, and is uninhabitable. The Highlands are a place of fjords and lava fields. They can be explored though.
Iceland is the place to go if you want to experience something different. The country has a lot to offer: hot springs to bathe in, geysers and fumaroles to experience the geological oddities of the island, wonderful waterfalls, national parks, glacial lagoons… This makes a visit to Iceland truly unique and something that’s hard to find in the rest of Europe.
